Bokaro, 29 March (HS). Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav inspected the mini factory of illegal foreign liquor caught under Balidih police station area late on Thursday night. He looked at the seized goods and collected their samples and directed the product inspector to send them to the laboratory for testing. Also the concerned officer of the team and the station in-charge were asked to seal the factory. A case was registered against the operator under Section 47 of the Excise Act and instructions were given to take action.
There were 16 tanks (Himgiri) of 05 thousand capacity on the spot, which contained 07 thousand liters of ready liquor and 20 thousand liters of spirit. Also, bottles of different flavors used in liquor, fake stickers/hollow grams of different brands, empty bottles, fake QR codes, bottling and refilling machines, plastic bottles, cartoons, capping machines etc. were recovered.
On the spot, Additional Collector Mohd. Mumtaz Ansari, Sub-Divisional Officer Chas Om Prakash Gupta, Executive Magistrate Kumar Kanishk, Police Station Incharge Balidih, Excise Inspector, Assistant Public Relations Officer and others were present.
