Dehradun, 17 August (HS). The SDRF recovered the body of a boy who was swept away in a rainy river on Saturday after 24 hours. The police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem.
Actually, on August 16, two children were swept away in a rainy river in Dalanwala area. One of the children was rescued safely by the local people, while the other child went missing. The SDRF team, which arrived on the information, launched a rescue operation, but the child could not be found. During the rescue operation on Saturday, the SDRF recovered the body of the child from the Fandowala Dudhli river area. The name of the deceased child is Ibrahim (06) son of Samshad Ahmed, resident of Sanjay Colony Inder Road Dalanwala Dehradun.
