He met 6 injured people in the hospital, whose condition is improving. He assured them of all possible help from the Government of India. The minister has visited Kuwait to monitor the speedy return of the bodies of those killed in the unfortunate incident and to meet the injured.

In view of the Kuwait tragedy, the Kerala government has called an emergency cabinet meeting. The meeting discussed bringing back the bodies and coordinating relief efforts. Tamil Nadu's Minister for Minority Welfare and Non-Resident Tamil Welfare said five Tamils ​​were among those killed in the Kuwait fire. The victims were from the state's Thanjavur, Ramanathapuram and Peravurani areas and have been identified as Ram Karuppan, Veerasamy Mariyappan, Chinnadurai Krishnamurthy, Mohammed Sherif and Richard. Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al Sabah visited the site of the incident. Sheikh Fahad said the incident happened because of the company owner's greed.
