BMP jawan cheated of Rs 8 lakh in the name of getting housing loan

East Champaran, November 09 (HS). In the name of providing a housing loan to a BMP jawan working in Darbhanga, a LIC agent has committed a fraud of about Rs 8.10 lakh. The victim jawan is Sachindra Ram, resident of Mathia Bhopat village of Lakhaura police station. He has lodged an FIR in the matter at Raghunathpur police station.

In the FIR registered, it has been said that Nitish Kumar, son of Biltu Rai, resident of Nanpur of Sitamarhi police station, is his former acquaintance. Who lives in Raghunathpur. He is an agent of LIC. He asked for a housing loan of Rs 14 lakh. He told that all you have to do is sign the papers, the rest will be done by him. 60 thousand rupees were taken as expenses. Then later four checks were taken to give as simple loan. When he needed to withdraw money from the bank, it was found that the amount was withdrawn from his account at different times in the names of five people, which included Rahul Kumar of Muzaffarpur Kanti, Rampravesh Tiwari of Mamarkha village of Malahi police station, Lal Saraiya of Majhauliya police station. The amount has been transferred to the accounts of five people including Arun Choubey.
