The rain has flooded the tents and Israel’s ban on advertising in Gaza is making the situation worse.
Israel’s logic behind the attack
The United Nations says Israel’s attack on Gaza’s hospitals has almost destroyed its health service. The UN also said that Israel’s rationale behind the attack, that Palestinian armed groups were using the facilities, was false and contrary to publicly available information.
Al-Qassam also fired rockets
Despite the Israeli attack, Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades continues to target Israeli forces and settlements. Hamas’ military wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, announced that its fighters had fired rockets at the Israeli settlement of Netivot. For this reason, as soon as the new year started, sirens started ringing in the Israeli settlement adjacent to Gaza.
