Block program officer arrested for taking bribe of ten thousand rupees

Jaipur, 30 April (HIST). Sri Ganganagar team of Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), while taking action in Anupgarh on Tuesday, arrested Office Block Chief Medical Officer, Ghadsana District, Anupgarh Block Program Officer, Ajay Kumar, while taking a bribe amount of Rs. 10,000 from the complainant.

Anti Corruption Bureau's Additional Director General of Police Hemant Priyadarshi said that the complainant complained to the Sriganganagar team of ACB that in return for extension of contract for the post of ANM and getting her to join duty, the office of Block Chief Medical Officer Ghadsana District Anupgarh Block Program Officer Ajay Kumar is demanding a bribe amount of eighteen thousand rupees.

After verifying the complaint under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Pawan Kumar Meena of Sriganganagar team of ACB, the accused Block Program Officer Ajay Kumar was arrested while taking a bribe amount of Rs. 10,000. It is noteworthy that even during the verification of the complaint by the accused Block Program Officer Ajay Kumar, he had collected a bribe of eight thousand rupees from the complainant.
