Hyderabad: A heart-wrenching case has come to light in Hyderabad, Telangana. A blind couple living with the dead body of their 30-year-old son in a house here did not know that he had died four days ago. Police said that when a foul smell started coming from the house on Monday, the neighbors informed the police, after which a team reached the spot and found the dead body and the husband and wife lying unconscious on the ground.
Nagole police station in-charge A Surya Nayak said that the man died at home and it is suspected that he died while sleeping four-five days ago. The officer said the blind elderly couple did not know that their young son had died and they kept shouting for food and water but received no response. He said that even the neighbors could not hear his voice. The police arranged food and water for them.
Case registered against elder son
After taking information from the couple about their elder son, the police told them that he lives in another area of the city. A case has been registered and the body has been sent to the government hospital for post-mortem.
