He was born in 1862 in his maternal village Ballowal (Nawanshahr) to father Mangal Das and mother Sahib Devi ji. His ancestral village is Manhnaana Hoshiarpur. He did severe penance by working hard in his life. He gave up his body in 1940 on the 17th day of Bhadon month according to Gurmat ritual. Raja Sahib ji proved himself by sitting in deserts, wells, fields and houses in search of God till the age of forty. Prasad remained idle for forty years and spent a solitary life away from women. By chanting the name in his life, this Kaliyug found millions of lives on the path of truth. The essence of his teachings includes the unity of God, omnipresence, praise of the Guru, superstitions and delusions growing in society, how to stay away from the disorders of life, the biggest problem of society today, how to keep life away from addiction, how to live a life of service and meditation by staying away from adultery and fornication in life, in his preaching he has given knowledge of the concept of education, ideal man and attainment of eternal happiness.

Raja Saheb has planned the day of Sangranad of Chettar for the people of the city and outside. A meeting of the Sangat was held on Sangranad of Chettar 1907. The congregation made a flame and sang the words of Gurbani and the words of the saints. Raja Saheb himself stood up, took the name of God and touched the holy land. The foundation was dug. He placed five bricks with his own hands and named this place 'Dukh Nivaran'.
Maharaj Ji told the congregation that if any creature sits here and meditates and serves the Lord, then all his sorrows and pains will be removed. He started saying to Harnam Singh, 'Harnamya has built a divine temple in your village. The rulers of the world will bow down and salute this place. Unhealthy diseases will be cured at this place. The creatures of Kalyug will be generous at this holy place. Pain, depression, sorrow will be removed from this place. Harnamya has made your village a relief place today. The name of your village will be spoken in the world. This place was built by Raja Saheb. Mangaldas, the bather, brought plates of Prasad, Raja Saheb built a hall of 50 x 50 feet with his own hands. Planted a garden in front of the Gurudwara, planted a well. I will spend most of my life at this place. Today, Tappa Asthan Raja Sahib, Memorial Sahib Das Ji, Guru Granth Sahib Darbar Hall and a large building Langar Hall have been constructed at this place. Anchors always keep going.
