Varanasi, 09 November (HS). The police arrested a fraud woman living in Shivpur police station area from Sarnath on Saturday on charges of blackmailing and demanding extortion. It is alleged that the woman was blackmailing an industrialist of the city and demanding extortion from him. On the written complaint of the entrepreneur, the police arrested the woman after investigation found the case to be true. During this time, there was a discussion that the accused woman had collected huge amount of money by filing a case against all the husbands after marrying her five times. The woman has previously been accused of extorting money by accusing several men of rape.
The woman was demanding money from the businessman by making fake documents and photos and posting the photos from her multiple IDs on social media platforms. When the businessman refused to pay the money, he filed a false case of rape and fraud against the businessman in Shivpur police station. On this, the victim entrepreneur lodged a complaint at Sarnath police station on 12th August. This time, as soon as the case was revealed in the police investigation, the fate of the woman changed. The investigator in-charge of Sarnath police station took legal action against the woman. The accused were arrested by Sub Inspector Vijitha, Uma Jadaun, Constable Pooja Paswan Sarnath Commissionerate.
