Guwahati, May 05 (HS). Under the initiative of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, a massive bike rally was organized in Guwahati today. On the last day of campaigning for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections, Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the bike rally taken out by Yuva Morcha from Khanapada Veterinary Ground in Guwahati to Latashil Ground. Inaugurating the rally, Chief Minister Dr. Sarma said that this election is still more important than other times.
In comparison to the previous elections, this time people from all walks of life have directly responded in favor of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The enthusiasm of the young generation is unprecedented with 100 per cent support from women in the state. State President of Yuva Morcha Siddhanku Ankur Baruva said that earlier people were afraid to participate in the elections, but this time people from all levels will not celebrate the elections like a festival.
Later, the Chief Minister said through social media that today everyone in Assam is like one family – whether Assamese, Bengali, Marwari or Bihari – all are children of Mother Assam.
