Who got what in the last assembly elections?

The last assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir were held in November-December 2014. Voting was held on 87 seats, out of which the People's Democratic Party (PDP) won 28 seats, while the National Conference was reduced to only 15 seats. At the same time, BJP won 25 and Congress won 12 seats, creating trouble for everyone. PDP and BJP decided to form a coalition government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. On 1 March 2015, Sayeed took oath as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. However, Sayeed died on 7 January 2016 and Governor's rule was imposed in the state for some time. Sayeed's daughter and PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti took over as the Chief Minister. This alliance could not last long and in 2018 BJP withdrew its support from the alliance.
