Godda, September 21 (HS). BJP's Parivartan Rath Yatra, which started from Bhognadih, reached Boarijor market on Saturday evening. During this, former MLA Lobin Hembram made sharp attacks on Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his government.
Lobin Hembram said that before the elections, Hemant Soren had given many temptations to the public, such as five lakh jobs, unemployment allowance and contracts worth up to Rs 25 lakh. But, after coming to power, none of these promises were fulfilled. He justified his decision to leave JMM and join BJP, saying that JMM is no longer the same party as it was during the time of Shibu Soren.
He said that Hemant Soren's government is in the hands of those who are not well-wishers of Jharkhand. Hembram alleged that students, businessmen and youth are feeling cheated. He also described the distance of leaders like Sita Soren and Champai Soren as a symbol of internal rift in JMM and said, “Those who did not listen to their own leaders, how will they listen to the people of the state?”
Godda MLA Amit Mandal also addressed the public on this occasion. BJP District President Sanjeev Mishra, Vice President Ajay Sah, District General Secretary Murari Choubey, Youth Front's Nitesh Ojha, Block President Bambhooli Pandey and Youth President Deenbandhu Mandal along with many local workers were present in the program. The purpose of Parivartan Rath Yatra is to go to rural areas and spread the message of change. This yatra will call for change in the whole of Jharkhand.
