Maharashtra Election News: Political parties have become active in view of the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra. BJP seems to be implementing the strategy which was successful in achieving victory in Haryana in Maharashtra. The NDA government of Maharashtra has taken two major decisions in the cabinet meeting held on Thursday. On one hand, it has decided to give constitutional status to the State Scheduled Caste Commission, while on the other hand, the Central Government has increased the limit of OBC criminal layer to Rs 20,000. Rs 15 lakh has been recommended. Currently it is Rs. 8 lakhs.
Backward classes also covered
The state government has included 19 OBC castes and sub-castes of Maharashtra in the Central Backward List, covering the backward classes. Which includes Gurjar, Lodh, Dangri, Bhoyar etc. These decisions can change the electoral equation.
These meetings can be beneficial
Elections may be held next month. According to experts, the 19 OBCs who have been included in the central list have more than 30 seats. Due to which the results of the elections can change. Whereas on more than 12 seats the decision of the Dalit community remains final. Due to their large population they have the power to change the electoral equation.
Mission 40 plan ready
A plan for Mission 40 has been prepared by combining all these equations. The alliance of BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP may succeed in changing the equation in the state through new announcements and new benefits. Maratha movement has been going on in the state for the last few years. Marathas are agitating for reservation under the leadership of Manoj Jarange Patil. Their population in the state is about 30 percent. A large part of which may suffer losses if they are angry with the government.
Will Haryana be in Maharashtra?
The present government of Maharashtra is aware of the impact of the Maratha movement. Therefore, she is trying to win over OBC, SC, Muslim and other sections in her favor. This strategy is like Haryana. In Haryana, BJP tried to attract other OBC castes like Gurjar, Kashyap, Saini, Kumbhar, Soni to reduce the impact of Jat resentment.
