Varanasi, July 20 (HS). The 54th birthday of former state minister and City South MLA Dr Neelkanth Tiwari was celebrated with great enthusiasm by BJP workers along with social organizations. The workers wished for a long and healthy life of MLA Tiwari by donating blood under the leadership of party's metropolitan president Vidyasagar Rai in a blood donation camp organized at the divisional Shiv Prasad Gupta Hospital in Kabirchaura. In the same sequence, 54 liters of kheer was offered and prasad was distributed at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham on the MLA's birthday. Roshan Gujarati, Manoj Yadav, etc. planted 54 saplings in the Nehru Market located at Maidagin Golghar to mark Dr Tiwari's birthday.
Members of the social organization Subah-e-Banaras performed special rituals and prayed for the long life of the MLA. Organization member Dr. Virendra Pratap Singh mentioned many untold aspects of Vidhayat Tiwari's public life. In the same sequence, Ratnadev Singh got 54 Brahmins to perform Abhishek amidst chanting of mantras in Durgakund area. 54 Batukas of Shri Kashi Annapurna Temple also performed Puja for the good health of the MLA. Mahant Ramesh Tiwari of Shri Sakshi Vinayak Temple did special decoration of Lord Vinayak on the birthday of the MLA. After worshipping the idol, he distributed Prasad among the devotees. In Nai Sadak area, BJP workers distributed copies and pens among the children in the primary school on the birthday. Mahant of Ara Math performed Rudrabhishek on the birthday of the MLA. Similarly, a Bhandara was organized by performing Havan-Pujan in Laat Bhairav Temple. Apart from this, workers celebrated the birthday of the MLA by cutting cake and distributing Laddu etc. at the main intersections of the assembly constituency. Divisional President Gopal Ji Gupta, Alok Srivastava, Nalin Nayan Mishra, Sandeep Chaurasia played a special role in the entire program.
