Lucknow, 25 October (HS). Putting an end to various discussions taking place in the political circles after Nishad Party, an ally in the NDA alliance in Uttar Pradesh, did not get a single seat in the by-elections, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak and Nishad Party President Dr. Sanjay Nishad held a joint press conference. After the core committee meeting of Nishad Party, both the leaders, while addressing a press conference, fiercely targeted the Samajwadi Party and the opposition alliance. He accused the opposition parties of spreading confusion among the public. He said that BJP will win all the by-election seats in Uttar Pradesh.

Sanjay Nishad said that our party and workers will follow the coalition dharma with an open heart. In the by-elections going to be held on nine seats of the state, our workers and officials will support all the candidates of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and make them win. In this election, Nishad community will also fully support BJP and will stand together to defeat the opposition parties. Sanjay Nishad said that this morning we had a meeting with the core committee of our party. He told that there has been talk in Delhi that we will sit and discuss further on the issue of reservation and he was given information about how to do it. He said that opposition people always create wrong narrative in elections. This is our demand from the beginning, our issues are the same keeping in mind the sacrifice we made in the by-elections (by not taking the ticket), reservation is the first issue for us. Answering a question regarding relations with the NDA alliance, Sanjay Nishad said that we are not among those who come and go. If we are together then we will be together in 27 also. We will remain with NDA with a big heart.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that Sanjay Nishad has followed the coalition dharma. Nishad Party-BJP will work together on the ground in Uttar Pradesh. He said that Nishad community was persecuted under the SP government. Answering the questions, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pathak said that huge investment came in Uttar Pradesh. UP is progressing rapidly. The people of the state will no longer be misled by the opposition (SP-Congress) and other parties. Victory is important, all seats will be won.

It is noteworthy that the National President of Nishad Party, Dr. Sanjay Nishad was claiming two seats in the by-elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh. Being an ally in the NDA alliance, political discussions were also going on whether his party would get tickets. But despite his efforts in Delhi, his party did not get a chance to contest even a single seat in this election. After talking to the BJP high command in Delhi, today he held a meeting with his party's Core Committee in the morning and then held a press conference with Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak and shared the strategy of the Nishad Party by-election.
