East Champaran, 31 August (HS). BJP workers gave a grand welcome to the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party and minister of the Bihar government, Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, by garlanding him and offering him shawls at Chhapwa Chowk when he was going to Bettiah on Saturday.
Present on the occasion were Bettiah MP Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal, former minister Ramchandra Sahni, former MLA Rajesh Singh, former MLC Bablu Gupta, Ramgopal Khandelwal, Pradeep Sarraf, Vikas Sharma, Ankur Chaudhary, Mandal president Mahesh Mishra, Ravi Paswan, Murari Pandey, Ashok Jha, Tappu Jha, Jitendra Singh, Ashok Soni and Subodh Chaudhary along with a large number of BJP workers.
Before this, at Shankar Dhaba of Banjaria block, the workers welcomed the state president with Mangalacharan, garland and angavastra. Block president Deepu Chaurasia, general secretary Rajiv Ranjan, Pramod Shankar Singh, Deepak Singh, Avadh Patel, Nandkishore Pandit, Akhilesh Gupta, former Legislative Councilor Bablu Gupta, Shankar Sarraf, Jai Singh and a large number of BJP workers were present on the occasion.
