Ranchi, 14 October (HS). BJP State President Babulal Marandi has asked many questions to Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday. He has asked some questions regarding lawyer Sujit Kumar, land businessman Sanjeev Pandey and some zonal officers associated with the land scam in the state.
Marandi's questions
-Is it true that Sujit Kumar has been kept in custody by Ranchi Police for the last seven days without any legal process and efforts are being made to suppress the case? If this is not true, then why was there no denial from Ranchi Police when I raised this question a few days ago?
-According to the information so far, it has come to light that the zonal officers have given crores of rupees to this broker lawyer. So the question arises that from where did such a huge amount come to the zonal officers? Does this not confirm the allegations raised by me that there is a land scam worth billions of rupees in Jharkhand, especially in the capital Ranchi?
-If the zonal officers gave crores of rupees to a broker in the name of managing the case, then why has your government not arrested any zonal officer till now?
-What is the reason that Ranchi Police, after taking the case round and round for seven days, is now preparing to hand it over to CID or ACB so that the case can be easily delayed for a long time? Is it not true that a conspiracy is being hatched to save the guilty dishonest officers by giving a new twist to this entire matter?
-You are the Chief Minister, you have the Home Ministry. How can your silence be understood in such a big scam?
