Jammu, August 18 (HS). In the recent meeting of BJP District Committee team in Jammu, BJP OBC Morcha President and State Election Management Committee member Sunil Prajapati highlighted the Modi government's commitment towards justice and welfare of the OBC community in Jammu and Kashmir.
Prajapati focused on the extensive efforts of the government to promote the welfare of the people, especially those belonging to the OBC community, through various development projects and welfare schemes.
He outlined several key projects launched by the Modi government in the Union Territory including construction of roads, overhead bridges, development of railway stations and expansion of railway tracks. He also spoke about various welfare schemes like the Ayushman Bharat Arogya Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Ladli Beti, Ujjwala Yojana, PM Awas Yojana and the Startup Mission aimed at supporting the youth.
In particular, Prajapati highlighted the impact of the Startup Mission on OBC youth. He said it provides a 35 per cent subsidy for businesses in rural areas and 25 per cent in urban areas. He encouraged OBC youth to take advantage of these opportunities and called it a golden opportunity for them to benefit from the scheme.
Prajapati urged all party workers to show dedication by spreading awareness about these welfare schemes and carrying out rigorous door-to-door campaigns to ensure the success of the party in the upcoming Assembly elections.
