BJP MP from Chhindwara, MP received death threat, call came from Pakistan

Chhindwara/Bhopal, 21 October (HS). Vivek Bunty Sahu, BJP MP from Chhindwara parliamentary constituency of Madhya Pradesh, has received death threats. On Monday at 3.30 pm, an unknown person called him on WhatsApp on his mobile and abused him and threatened to kill him. Regarding this, BJP leader Arvind Rajput, close to the MP, went to the Kotwali police station in the evening and lodged a written complaint with the police. The police have taken the matter into investigation.

BJP leader Arvind Rajput, close to MP Vivek Bunty Sahu, said in a written complaint given at the Kotwali police station that a call was received from the number 3471933240 with +92 code on WhatsApp calling. +92 is the country code of Pakistan. The person in front has directly talked about killing. On the complaint, the police have registered a case against the unknown accused under sections 296 and 391(4) and have started investigating the matter.

BJP leader Arvind Rajput told that at around 3.30 pm the MP's mobile was in my hand and he was also with me. At the same time a call came from a number starting with +92. It appeared that this number was from abroad. I put the mobile on loud speaker and gave it to the MP. As soon as he said that I am MP Vivek Bunty Sahu, the person in front started using abusive words and said that I will kill you. After this the MP did not give any reply.

Kotwali police station in-charge Umesh Golhani said that a call was received on the MP's mobile on WhatsApp from +92 series which is from Pakistan. He was told that you and your boss go out a lot. Forget getting out. FIR has been registered against unknown. We will investigate on all points.
