Firozabad, June 24 (HS). A delegation of BJP led by MLA Sadar Manish Asija met the family members of prisoner Akash Jatav who died in jail on Monday. BJP members understood the pain of the family and assured all possible help.
BJP MLA Manish Asija met the family of the victim on Monday and said that the government will take strict action against the police personnel found guilty in the death of Akash Jatav and will also provide full support to the victim's family. Soon he will meet the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath and apprise him of the entire case. He will meet the higher authorities and inform them for an impartial judicial inquiry of the entire case so that the victim's family can get fair justice and action can be taken against the culprits. Every BJP worker will stand with the victim's family.
The delegation includes BJP Lok Sabha candidate Thakur Vishwadeep Singh, District President Uday Pratap Singh, Metropolitan President Rakesh Shankhwar, former MLA Rakesh Babu Advocate, District Spokesperson Dr. Amit Gupta etc.
It is noteworthy that Akash Jatav, a resident of Nagla Pachiya of Thana Dakshin area, died in jail on Friday. He was sent to jail by the police on June 19 on the charge of bike theft. The family members alleged that he died due to police beating. After his death, angry people blocked the road and pelted stones and committed arson. Many big leaders including BSP chief Mayawati are demanding action against the culprits on this incident.
