District in-charge Ashok Chaurasia was the chief guest. During this, the BJP set a target of making 5 lakh members in Jaunpur district. In the workshop, information about the upcoming activities related to the membership campaign was given by launching the symbol and missed call number 8800002024. First of all, the program was started by garlanding the pictures of party leaders Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.
On this occasion, Chief Guest Ashok Chaurasia said that the missed call number 8800002024 for membership campaign by BJP will be started from September 1 after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President Jagat Prakash Nadda take membership. State level membership campaign will be launched from Lucknow on September 2 and 3. Membership campaign will be launched in all district headquarters on September 4 and 5 and Mandal level on September 6 and 7. The target is to make 5 lakh members in the district. All workers and leaders will go door-to-door to make members. The worker who makes 100 primary members will become an active member. BJP has set a target of making 200 members at every booth. BJP's membership campaign will run from September 2 to October 15. Active membership campaign will run from October 16 to October 31. He said that this is not a membership campaign, it is the grand festival of the organization.
Rajya Sabha member Seema Dwivedi said that the BJP recruits new members every six years. This time a target has been set to recruit more members in the district than the last time. Every leader will have to strengthen the organization in his area, especially in those areas where the party has faced defeat in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
MLA Badalpur Ramesh Chandra Mishra said that the organization needs to pay special attention to the weak booths. For this, every MP, MLA and other public representatives will have to come together, focus on each power center, try new experiments, pay attention to which class is left out, focus on which class's vote we did not get in the assembly and Lok Sabha, if work is done on the occasion, history is made.
MLC Vidya Sonkar said that the membership drive will also be all-inclusive, in which people from every section and every area of society will be connected with the party. Party workers will reach out to people from all sections like youth, women, scheduled castes, tribes, doctors, artists, sportspersons etc. and connect them with the party.
District President Pushpraj Singh said that the workshops of Mandals will be held on 25, 26, 27 August. Workshops will be organized at all the Shakti Kendras of the district on 28 and 29 August. After this, on 31 August, workshops related to the organization festival will be organized simultaneously at all the booths of the state. Bharatiya Janata Party calls this process as Organization Festival because for BJP, the nation is first. This festival will start from September 1 with zeal and enthusiasm.
