BJP may release the first list of Lok Sabha candidates in two-three days

New Delhi, March 01 (Hindustan Reporter) In view of the Lok Sabha elections, the meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Central Election Committee (CEC) started late on Thursday night and continued till 3.30 in the morning. According to sources, along with deciding the seat sharing formula, the names of the candidates in the first list were also discussed. It is believed that BJP can release its first list in two-three days.

In this meeting that lasted for more than six hours at the BJP headquarters, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President JP Nadda, Union Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National General Secretaries BL Santosh, Tarun Chugh, G Kishan Reddy, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister of Gujarat Vishnu Dev, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan etc. participated.

Nadda has already held several rounds of meetings with the Chief Ministers of the states for the Lok Sabha elections. The names of the candidates were to be decided in this meeting. It is believed that Union ministers who were earlier members of Rajya Sabha will be fielded in the Lok Sabha elections. These include Bhupendra Yadav, Mansukh Mandaviya, Dharmendra Pradhan. Along with this, names of candidates on weak and lost seats can also be announced soon.
