BJP lost due to inactivity of workers and lack of mutual coordination

Lucknow, June 24 (HS). The meeting of Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha vistaraks was concluded on Tuesday at the state headquarters of the Bharatiya Janata Party. BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary and state general secretary organization Dharampal Singh held meetings with the vistaraks in separate sessions and investigated the reasons for the party's defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. Addressing the meeting of BJP vistaraks, state general secretary organization Dharampal Singh said that this is not a farewell. The role of the Lok Sabha elections is over. Preparations are on for the upcoming responsibility. Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha vistaraks of Awadh, Gorakhpur and Kashi region were called in this meeting. While the meeting of Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha vistaraks of West, Braj and Kanpur region has been concluded in Hapur two days ago.

In the meeting, a review was done on a Lok Sabha-wise basis and the vistaraks were questioned in this regard. Most of the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha vistaraks have said that the lack of coordination among the party leaders and the inactivity of the party workers at the booth level is the main reason for the defeat. BJP had to face defeat due to lack of coordination between the candidates and MLAs in many Lok Sabha constituencies. In some districts, the candidates could not coordinate with the BJP district team, due to which the campaign could not gain momentum. The booth committee and panna committee formed by the party also remained inactive. Apart from this, the work of bringing out the voters on the day of voting was not done at the booth level. As a result, voting was low, due to which the party had to suffer. BJP also had to lose many Lok Sabha seats due to overconfidence.

Lok Sabha expansion plan chief Brij Bahadur Pathak, BJP state general secretary Sanjay Rai, Awadh regional president Kamlesh Mishra, Gorakhpur regional president Sahajanand Rai and Kashi region regional president Dilip Patel were prominently present at the meeting.
