BJP leaders spent the night among slum dwellers, tried to understand the problems

Keeping in mind the 2025 assembly elections in Delhi, the Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a special program to connect with slum dwellers and understand their problems. Under this campaign, party leaders spent the night in 1,194 slums of the city and got to know closely about the challenges faced by the residents there.

BJP leaders direct communication with slum dwellers

Led by Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, senior party leaders visited various slums. During this, he interacted with the slum dwellers, listened to their problems and assured them of solutions. BJP leaders tried to ensure that the party takes the problems of people living in slums seriously and concrete steps are taken to improve their quality of life.

Sachdeva gave assurance

After spending the night in East Delhi’s Rajiv Camp and Krishna Market, Virendra Sachdeva said:

“BJP leaders are spending time among slum dwellers to understand their lives closely. We know their struggles and when the BJP government comes to power, we will improve their lives through the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB).”

Sachdeva also clarified that this campaign is not just an election strategy but a sincere attempt to solve the real problems of slum dwellers.

Senior BJP leaders joined

The event was attended by several senior BJP leaders, including:

  • Dushyant Gautam (National General Secretary of the party)
  • Vijendra Gupta (Leader of Opposition in the Assembly)
  • Ramveer Singh Bidhuri (MP)

These leaders listened seriously to the problems of the slum dwellers and expressed their commitment to solve them.

Focus on slum dwellers before 2025 elections

This campaign of BJP is being seen as a strategy to strengthen its hold in slums before the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections 2025. The main objective of this program is to establish direct contact with the slum dwellers and make efforts towards solving their problems.
