BJP leaders opened front on Akhilesh Yadav’s allegations


Lucknow, 7 September. Yogi government ministers and BJP leaders have sharply retaliated on the allegations of Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav. BJP leaders termed Akhilesh Yadav’s statement regarding this illegal structure located in the Saharanpur Collectorate complex as condemnable.
Cabinet Minister Anil Rajbhar said on the Saharanpur case that the administration has ensured compliance with the order of the Honorable Court. He said that if the Samajwadi Party is really serious about this matter and is not misleading the public then its leaders should go to the court and appeal against the order. He said that there should be no attempt to mislead the public on the basis of lies alone. He said that SP has been out of power for 10 years and its problems can be understood, but such statements should not be made which the public stops taking seriously. He called it a wrong trend being set by the opposition.

Attempt to spread religious frenzy on the pretext of illegal mosque – Bhupendra Chaudhary

Cabinet Minister Bhupendra Chaudhary said that Samajwadi Party is trying to create religious frenzy on the pretext of illegal mosque. He claimed that the action has not been taken against any religious structure, but against illegal construction and encroachment on government land. The administration has not taken this step arbitrarily. The administration took legal action only after confirming the order from the court. He alleged that the Samajwadi Party is defending illegal encroachment due to vote bank politics and is trying to create religious frenzy.

Akhilesh Yadav creates wrong narrative – Brijlal

Rajya Sabha member Brijlal also targeted Akhilesh Yadav’s statement. He said that Akhilesh Yadav always creates wrong narrative. The illegal mosque structure in question in Saharanpur was on government land and the action was taken not by arbitrary order of the administration but under the judicial process. First the case went to the city magistrate’s court and then the hearing took place in the judicial court. Following the decision of the District Judge’s court, the structures built on government land were removed. He said that when the action has been taken under the orders of the court, then Akhilesh Yadav should not create a narrative to mislead people in this matter.

Aseem Arun raised the issue of changing the names of districts associated with Buddha

Minister of State (Independent Charge) Aseem Arun raised questions about Akhilesh Yadav’s love for Lord Buddha. He said that when Akhilesh Yadav was the Chief Minister, the names of the districts associated with Lord Buddha were changed. He said that Mahamaya ji was the mother of Lord Buddha and the name of Mahamaya Nagar built after her was changed. Similarly, he also mentioned about changing the names of Panchsheel Nagar and Prabuddha Nagar. He said that today when the people of Uttar Pradesh have ousted him from power, he is remembering Lord Buddha.

The building of the Collectorate complex was completely unauthorized – Dinesh Singh

State’s chief BJP spokesperson Dinesh Singh said that the administration has complied with the court order in the matter of the building constructed in the Saharanpur Collectorate complex. He accused Akhilesh Yadav and the opposition of trying to politicize the issue and create religious hysteria. The BJP spokesperson said that Uttar Pradesh has a government led by BJP and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and no one will be given the opportunity to create religious frenzy.
