Jammu, July 1 (HS). On Monday, the BJP resumed the weekly meeting program at its headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, in which it redresses public grievances. Former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, Jammu and Kashmir BJP Vice President and former Minister Sham Choudhary, former Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Baloria and other leaders heard the grievances of the public on the first day of the resumed program.
People visited the party headquarters as a delegation and put forth their problems related to electricity, revenue, water shortage, pension, cleanliness before senior BJP leaders. While listening to the problems and grievances of the people, Dr. Nirmal Singh said that BJP is committed to address the problems of the people 365 days a year. He said that unlike other political parties, BJP cares for the people throughout the year and party workers remain engaged in public service even at the cost of their personal needs.
Meanwhile, Sham Choudhary reiterated the party's commitment to solve the problems of the people at the earliest. He said that the party has resumed the program of public meetings of senior party leaders so that a consistent medium of two-way dialogue can be available between the public, the party and the administration.
