News India Live, Digital Desk: A very painful and sensational news broke on Saturday morning in Nakur area of Saharanpur. Here a local leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was shot dead brutally. The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old Dharam Singh Kori, who was the vice president of Ambehta Mandal of BJP.
The matter came to light when the rest of the house woke up early in the morning. Dharam Singh ji was sleeping on a cot in the courtyard behind the house. Like every day, when her daughter-in-law came to give her tea, she screamed after seeing the scene there. Dharam Singh was lying on the cot soaked in blood and he was dead.

The killers committed this crime with great fearlessness. It seems that when Dharam Singh was in deep sleep, the killers reached there and shot him right in the middle of his forehead. The bullet was fired from such close range that he died on the spot. The family members did not even hear any sound of gunshot during the night, which has deepened the suspicion.
His son Sushil, who is also Mandal General Secretary in BJP, told that everything was fine at night. He also gave tea to his father, after which he went to sleep. They had no idea that such terrible news would be waiting for them in the morning.
Police started investigation from every angle
As soon as the news of this massacre spread, there was panic in the entire police department. Heavy police force including SP (Rural) reached the spot along with forensic team and dog squad. Police have collected evidence from the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
At present the family members have denied having any kind of enmity with anyone. Dharam Singh Kori was earlier in BSP and had joined BJP with his family only a few years ago. He was known as a person of calm nature in the area.
The police is now investigating this matter from every angle. Is this murder the result of some old rivalry, or is there a political reason behind it, or is the matter something else?
