Atul Garg on the issue of dog bites and attacks: We must have heard many cases of dog bites in newspapers or on the road or at tea stalls, but on Tuesday this issue was raised in the Parliament. Ghaziabad BJP MP Atul Garg raised this issue. In response to a question, the BJP MP said that three and a half lakh people have been bitten by dogs across the country. Out of these, 286 people have died. If this figure is correct, then in my Ghaziabad, 35 thousand people have been bitten by dogs in a year. Small children are becoming its biggest victims.

Referring to a report published in a newspaper in the Lok Sabha, the MP said that in Ghaziabad a dog bit off a child's ear. Four days ago, the news came that a child had died tragically of rabies. If a dog is a pet and it bites someone, then its owner is responsible. If a private dog makes a mess, then someone is responsible for that too. But if a stray dog bites, then neither does anyone come against the biter nor does anyone come forward to save him.

fear prevails in the city

BJP MP Atul Garg said, your request is that many issues have been reconsidered inside the Parliament and inside the Supreme Court. A rule has been made that if a dog has been sterilized, it has to be left there again. In my town, children cannot play and people cannot walk. An atmosphere of terror has been created in the city and the same situation will prevail in other places as well.

Why are dog bite cases increasing?

The MP said, Chairman Sir, I request you to form a committee and reconsider this matter. Those who are saying that the work of ABC is going well. I want to ask them why the number of people dying due to dog bites is increasing?

He said that there is a kind of imbalance between animal lovers and human freedom in these rules. Be it the government or any court, humanity should be given priority. I request you to form a committee on this subject.
