Jammu, August 24 (HS). BJP Kashmir Displaced District has intensified its election campaign with the inauguration of a new election office in Durga Nagar, Jammu. Several prominent BJP leaders including State Secretary and Incharge Jammu South Ayodhya Gupta, former MLC and Incharge Kashmir Displaced District Ajay Bharti, District President Chand Ji Bhat, Co-Incharge Heera Lal Bhat and various District and Mandal officials attended the event.
Ayodhya Gupta expressed enthusiasm about the new initiative and highlighted its strategic importance. He said the inauguration of these election offices is an important step by the BJP leadership to broaden our reach in Jammu and Kashmir. These offices will act as the central hub for all election-related activities which will facilitate effective coordination and communication within the party.
Ajay Bharti in his address criticised the National Conference (NC) and Congress for their stand on the issues of Kashmiri Pandits and their opposition to the repeal of Article 370 and 35A. Bharti condemned the NC manifesto which calls for the withdrawal of these provisions which are detrimental to the rights of the Valmiki community and the daughters of the state. He highlighted the significant positive changes in Jammu and Kashmir since the repeal.
