Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said that BJP is pressurizing them to leave the Bharat alliance. He expressed concern that Arvind Kejriwal could be arrested in a false case of liquor scam. Cabinet Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that the general elections of 2024 are approaching and in these elections BJP may see its defeat at the hands of India Alliance. For the last 10 years, the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party government at the Center has failed miserably. Corruption, inflation and unemployment are reaching new heights every day. They failed to provide 2 crore jobs every year, instead of doubling the farmers' income as promised before the elections, they forced the farmers to agitate for their basic rights. People are full of anger against BJP and are uniting to defeat them. That is why BJP is afraid of Bharat alliance.
Cheema said that AAP leaders are receiving threatening calls from BJP that if we do not leave the Bharat alliance, they will arrest our national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Till now Arvind Kejriwal has received 7 summons from ED. They are planning to arrest him soon to throw us out of India Alliance. But BJP will not succeed in its agenda against Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal.
