BJP is playing with women by not releasing the first installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana: Sushil Maurya

Jagdalpur, 06 March (Hindustan Reporter). Sushil Maurya, city president of Bastar District Congress Committee at Rajiv Bhawan Jagdalpur, said in a press conference on Wednesday that the Mahtari Vandan scheme of the state government of Chhattisgarh has proved to be a complete failure. The central and state governments have played with the women of the state by not releasing the first installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He said that the Sai government should make a lump sum payment of Rs 3,000 for the three months of January, February and March in the first installment to the beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana.

City President Sushil Maurya said that even after two and a half months of the new government of Chhattisgarh, as per the promise, the farmers of Chhattisgarh have been able to get a lump sum price of paddy at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal. The BJP's promise of giving gas cylinders for Rs 500 during the assembly elections has now become a mere statement. The BJP government is not able to implement its own schemes, on the contrary, it is conspiring to stop the relief and subsidies of the previous Congress government. He said that in Chhattisgarh, more than 27 lakh women were earning their livelihood through Gothans, and the anti-people Vishnudev Sai government is trying to eclipse them too.

The previous Congress government in Chhattisgarh has set records in the economic, social and cultural progress of the common people. Under the leadership of Bhupesh Baghel, the Congress government had directly deposited an amount of more than Rs. 2.25 lakh crore in the bank accounts of the people of Chhattisgarh, this is the reason that Chhattisgarh's growth in all three sectors of the economy, agriculture, service and production. The average was better than the national average during the Congress government, but with the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party government, the economy of Chhattisgarh has again started running fast. Despite taking huge loans, the Vishnudev government has completely failed to fulfill the promises made to the public. From which it is clear that the resources of the state are being sacrificed due to corruption of BJP leaders.
