Lucknow, 24 April (HS). Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Manjit Singh said in a statement on Tuesday that BJP will win all 80 Lok Sabha seats in the state, including the seats in the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections being held in Uttar Pradesh.
He said that the entire Sikh community of Terai region is with BJP. An example of this is the one-sided vote of the Sikh community in favor of the BJP in Pilibhit Lok Sabha constituency.
Shri Singh said that earlier, after giving their sugarcane to the sugar mills, the farmers had to hold protests and fasts continuously for payment. But now due to the double engine BJP government, most of the sugarcane payments made to the cooperative sugar mills for the month of March have reached the accounts of the farmers. On the other hand, crores of farmers of the state are getting the benefit of Kisan Samman Nidhi. Farmers' tube well bills are becoming free, farmers of the state are getting electricity for more than 18 hours and asphalt roads have been built in the villages. The people of Uttar Pradesh are getting the benefit of free ration. The opposition has no issue in Uttar Pradesh. The farmers of the country and UP are completely with the BJP.
