Ranchi, August 20 (HS). A meeting of the state core committee was held on Tuesday at the BJP state office under the chairmanship of state president Babulal Marandi. The meeting was addressed by state election in-charge and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, co-election in-charge and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Leader of Opposition Amar Kumar Bauri said that the Hemant government has proven to be a completely anti-tribal, anti-youth, anti-women and anti-farmer government.
Today the youth is ready to express their anger on the streets. Today in the core committee meeting, the preparations for the Yuva Aakrosh Rally to be held on 23rd August at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi were discussed in detail.
He said that apart from this, there was also a discussion on the upcoming organisational programmes and preparations to listen to the Prime Minister's Mann Ki Baat programme at every booth on August 25. He said that the Hemant government has been misleading the public since its first day. They have nothing to do with serving the public. For two years, the excuse of empty treasury, then the excuse of corona, sometimes the excuse of resigning from the post, the Chief Minister spent five years only making excuses.
He said that on one hand the youth is coming on the streets for five lakh jobs and unemployment allowance, while on the other hand the Hemant government is throwing the JPSC, JSCC examinations into corruption. The JPSC copies are being checked by people who are not authorized. This has once again exposed the corruption. He said that for 5 years neither employment policy was made nor jobs were given nor unemployment allowance.
He said that the Chief Minister woke up when the BJP President and the Chief Minister of Assam visited Chauhan Hembram's house. Despite this, he gave the widow only what was already decided by him at the government level. Even today, the intruders have occupied the land of the tribal family in Gai Bathan. The court order has also become void there.
He said that the Chief Minister constantly makes baseless statements to divert attention from the issues. He should tell who had accused the vegetable vendor of buying the MLAs. Who had put the MLAs of the ruling party in jail. And if that MLA is corrupt then why was he honoured by making him a minister? He said that the Hemant government is getting the tribal natives killed in the politics of appeasement.
Regional organization general secretary Nagendra Tripathi, state organization general secretary Karamveer Singh, former Chief Minister Arjun Munda, Union Minister Annapurna Devi, former state president and MP Deepak Prakash, Dr. Dineshanand Goswami, National President of Scheduled Tribe Front, former MP Samir Oraon, state vice president MLA Bhanu Pratap Shahi, Anant Ojha, state general secretary and MP Dr. Pradeep Verma, state general secretary Manoj Kumar Singh attended the meeting.
