BJP has made 19 lakh members in Chhattisgarh so far: Anurag Singhdev | News India

State convener and state spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party membership campaign Anurag Singhdev has said that like the whole country, in Chhattisgarh too, BJP workers and office bearers have achieved good success by working with dedication and loyalty in the membership campaign. Mr. Singhdev has informed that till now 19 lakh BJP members have been made in the state and the state BJP will achieve the target of membership in the stipulated period.

BJP membership campaign state convenor Singhdev told in a press conference at BJP office located in Ekatma premises on Monday that this organisational mega festival which started with the membership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 2nd September and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai on 3rd September is continuing uninterrupted. This campaign is continuously getting unprecedented support and cooperation from everyone. Currently, the central leadership had given the target of 10 crore membership except the election states and till now about 4.5 crore members have been enrolled. Similarly, the target of making 50 lakh members has been given in Chhattisgarh in which till date 19 lakh members have become BJP members. Shri Singhdev said that on 25th September, on the occasion of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Jayanti, Bharatiya Janata Party has decided that the Chief Minister, State President, all the ministers, MLAs, MPs, workers, office bearers will go to all the polling booths of Chhattisgarh and make at least 100 members. During this, they have to stay at the booths for 5 to 7 hours and meet the people there, have food with the same people and after that make 100 members. In this way, on the 25th we are going to make a huge leap in membership.

Singhdeo, the state convenor of the BJP membership campaign, said that on September 25, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev will be at the booth in Sai Bagiya. BJP state president Kiran Dev will be at booth number 20 Asla booth of Jagdalpur assembly. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao will be at Tulsa Ghat in Lormi assembly constituency, while Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma will enroll people by staying at booth number 234 of Kawardha city division of Kawardha assembly constituency. MLA Lata Usendi, Vice President of Bastar Authority and BJP National Vice President will be at booth number 2 in Kondagaon. Similarly, all ministers and senior officials have to visit one booth each. We will complete the big target of membership on September 25 and achieve the target of Chhattisgarh. We will complete the target of making 20 lakh members by tomorrow, 24th, and after that, we will make 11 lakh more new members on September 25. This campaign of BJP will continue continuously till October 2, after that there will also be public programs till October 15. We have time till October 15.

Talking about the review meeting held two days ago in Delhi, Anurag Singhdeo said that the membership campaign is being reviewed continuously. National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, National Organization General Secretary B L Santosh and BJP Membership Campaign In-charge Vinod Tawde were present in the meeting. Talking about two inspiring incidents of this campaign in the state, Singhdeo said that Antagarh Nagar Panchayat President Radhelal Nag was going to deliver literature material to Antagarh Assembly and his four-wheeler was washed away in the flood. With great difficulty, Mr. Nag saved his life by hanging on a tree. Another worker, who was earlier in the Congress, has now joined the BJP and has created a new record of membership and has made people of Congress members by focusing on them. Despite being an ordinary worker, he has created a new record of membership.

BJP State General Secretary Sanjay Srivastava also discussed the progress of the BJP membership campaign so far in the press conference and shed light on the upcoming action plan. BJP State Media Co-incharge Anurag Aggarwal, Kamal Garg and Mitul Kothari were also present in this press conference.
