BJP has announced seven candidates in four states, see who has been given ticket from which seat in the 12th list

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the 12th list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. In this list, BJP has announced the names of seven candidates from four states. Shashank Mani Tripathi has been given ticket from Deoria in Uttar Pradesh and Thakur Vishwadeep Singh has been given ticket from Firozabad. In Firozabad, BJP has fielded Thakur Vishwadeep Singh in place of sitting MP Chandrasen Singh Jadaun.

BJP cuts Ram Tripathi's Ramapati ticket

BJP has canceled the ticket of Deoria MP Ramapati Ram Tripathi. Now Shashank Mani Tripathi will contest elections from here. Shashank is the son of former MP General Prakashmani Tripathi. Apart from this, BJP has fielded Abhijit Das (Bobby) from the famous Diamond Harbor seat of Kolkata. It is noteworthy that Trinamool leader and Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee is contesting from this seat. Anita Somprakash, wife of Union Minister Somprakash, has got the ticket from Hoshiarpur.

Ticket to Chhatrapati Udayanraj from Satara, Maharashtra

Apart from this, the party has given ticket to Chhatrapati Udayanraj Bhosle from Satara, Maharashtra. Satara seat is one of those 9 seats in Maharashtra on which no decision was taken by the Grand Alliance. There is a war going on here between BJP and NCP. In the 2019 by-election, BJP had given ticket to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's descendant and sitting Rajya Sabha MP Udayanraj Bhosale, but he lost the election.
