BJP government has nothing to do with the problems of poor and farmers: Rahul Gandhi

Chandauli/Varanasi, 16 February (HS). Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Friday fiercely attacked the Modi government at the Center on the issues of inflation, unemployment and farmers. Rahul said that inflation and unemployment are increasing in the country. Farmers' land is being snatched away, but there is no one to show the truth. He alleged that the BJP government is not concerned with the problems of the poor and farmers.

Rahul Gandhi was addressing a public meeting in the grounds of Syedaraja National Inter College after his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra reached Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh. He said that at present there are two types of ideologies in the country. One unites brother with brother and one makes brother hate brother. Through this journey, he has come to open a shop of love in the market of hatred. Through this journey we have opened shops of love from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.

He said that we do not give speeches, we meet you for 7-8 hours, listen to your sorrows and pains and then finally speak for 15 minutes. Rahul appeared excited to see the crowd of alliance party workers along with party workers in his public meeting. He said that as soon as he reached the border, he came to know that he had come to Uttar Pradesh.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that a different issue of justice has been added to this visit than the previous visit. During the yatra, Rahul Gandhi paid tribute to the martyrs and offered a floral wreath at the Martyr Memorial at Syedaraja. During this, State Congress President Ajay Rai and other leaders were also present.
