Lucknow, September 20 (HS). The Bharatiya Janata Party has created history by making one crore members in Uttar Pradesh within 18 days under the membership campaign. This is the first time in the state that the BJP has made one crore members in such a short time. The state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, has confirmed this on his social media account.
The state president wrote on Instagram that under the guidance of the country's successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the able leadership of National President JP Nadda, one crore new members have become members in Uttar Pradesh in 18 days of the Bharatiya Janata Party's nationwide membership campaign-2024 and have committed to take the ideology of BJP forward. I have full faith that now a large number of people will ensure their participation in nation building by becoming members of the BJP family.
For this historic record of membership drive, I express my heartfelt gratitude to all the hardworking office bearers of the party, God-like workers and all the members who have become a part of the BJP family.
Amroha on top in membership
The Bharatiya Janata Party has shared information about the districts in Uttar Pradesh which have enrolled the highest number of members. Among these ten districts, Amroha district is at the top. Amroha district has enrolled 145727 members. The other nine districts include Hardoi, Lucknow Mahanagar, Bulandshahr, Agra Mahanagar, Kushinagar, Unnao, Saharanpur district, Ghaziabad Mahanagar and Bahraich.
