BJP councilor Narsingh Das became the Deputy Chairman of Varanasi Municipal Corporation for the third time

Varanasi, July 11 (HS). The election for the post of Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of Varanasi Municipal Corporation was held on Thursday. In the election, BJP councilor of Ward-96 Dashaswamedh, Narsingh Das was unanimously elected Deputy Chairman of the Municipal Corporation for the third time.

Mayor Ashok Tiwari and the executive members congratulated Narsinghdas on being elected as the Chairman. After becoming the Deputy Chairman, Narsingh Das said that he will take all the councillors along. His first priority is that the public should not face any kind of problem in the city. Narsinghdas is a councillor for the fourth time from Dashashwamedh ward.

It is worth mentioning that there are nine BJP councillors in the 12-member executive committee of the Municipal Corporation. The councillors are Narsingh Das, Rajesh Yadav Challu, Sushil Kumar Gupta, Hanuman Prasad, Akshayvar Singh, Garima Singh, Suresh Kumar, Madan Mohan Dubey and Shyam Asare Maurya. Two members are Pramod Rai and Amardev Yadav from the Samajwadi Party and one member is from the Congress.
