BJP candidate wins by huge votes in Solan Municipal Corporation by-election | News India

Shimla, 29 September (HS). Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Amardeep Panja has won a landslide victory in the by-election of ward number five of Solan Municipal Corporation. Amardeep Panja defeated his nearest rival Punit Narang of Congress by 283 votes. Amardeep Panja got 523 votes, while Congress candidate Punit Narang got 240 votes. In this election, two votes were cast for NOTA. BJP says that in this by-election of Solan Municipal Corporation, the public has approved the policies and development works of BJP.

On the victory of BJP candidate Amardeep Panja, BJP Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal, MP Suresh Kashyap, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, State Organization General Secretary Siddharthan, General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma, Trilok Kapoor, Sikandar Kumar and senior leaders and workers. Congratulated him and called it a big achievement of the party.

Rajiv Bindal thanked the people of Solan and the voters of Ward No. 5 for this victory. He has said that this spectacular victory of BJP is a big fatwa against the present government of Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the Health Minister of Himachal Government was continuously going door to door in this ward, yet the government had to face a big defeat. BJP got more than twice the votes than Congress, this is a direct vote of the public against the present government, a vote against the false guarantees of the government, the burden on the public.

Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that the Congress government is continuously taking anti-people decisions and the public's anger towards it is clearly visible in this voting.
