BJP candidate blamed district president and minister for defeat in Salempur Lok Sabha seat

Ballia, June 17 (HS). After the defeat in the Salempur seat, which is connected to three assembly constituencies of the district, in the Lok Sabha elections, internal disputes have started surfacing. BJP candidate Ravinder Kushwaha has blamed his own party's district president Sanjay Yadav and UP government's Minister of State from Deoria Vijaylakshmi Gautam for the defeat here.

BJP candidate Ravinder Kushwaha missed a hat-trick in Salempur Lok Sabha seat. He lost the election to SP's Ramashankar Rajbhar by a margin of just three and a half thousand votes. There was internal turmoil since he lost the election by a small margin, which is now coming to the fore.

The investigation team of the state organization of BJP is expected to reach Ballia on June 18. It is being told that the team will investigate the reason for the defeat. Before this, the BJP candidate held the BJP district president responsible for his defeat. Openly targeting BJP district president Sanjay Yadav and minister Vijayalakshmi Gautam, he said in a conversation with journalists that the Ballia district president has committed sabotage. He termed the district president as an agent of SP.

He said that he should be removed from the post immediately. There is a conspiracy behind defeating BJP candidates to weaken Yogi and Modi. Ravindra Kushwaha, who has been a BJP MP from Salempur Lok Sabha seat for two consecutive terms, while revealing the secret of his defeat, said that the district president is working for a particular class as an agent of the Samajwadi Party.

While making a statement on Subhaspa chief Omprakash Rajbhar, he said that losing by 1.7 lakh votes in Ghosi shows that his hold on Rajbhar voters has reduced. The former MP said that the state organization's team is coming to Ballia, he will tell them the whole thing.
