Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Election Result 2024: In the Jammu and Kashmir elections, the Congress-National Conference (NC) alliance has won half the seats in Jammu and Kashmir for the first time in 10 years. BJP's vote percentage is more than the Congress-National Conference alliance. BJP got 25.66 percent votes. Whereas National Conference got 23.44 percent votes. Talking about Congress, here Congress has got 11.95 percent votes. In such a situation, BJP has got a reason to be happy.
After 10 years, assembly elections were held in Jammu and Kashmir for 90 assembly constituencies in three phases on 18 September, 25 September and 1 October. Assembly elections are being held in Jammu and Kashmir for the first time since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019, which had earlier divided the state into the union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
