The assembly elections of Jammu-Kashmir and Haryana held special importance for different reasons. While there was curiosity about Jammu and Kashmir whether this part of our land stands the test of democracy or not, Haryana was in everyone's attention whether there has been any change in the popularity graph of BJP in the Lok Sabha elections or not. ?
The people of Jammu and Kashmir had given an important message even before the results of the assembly elections that democracy has once again established its roots here. As soon as the country as well as the world got this message, the only question left was who gets the power? Since the BJP did not contest all the seats here and its influence in the Kashmir Valley was nominal compared to the Jammu division, its chances of becoming a strong contender for power were slim.
Even after this, it is important that along with overpowering the opponents in Jammu division, they have also prepared the ground for their base in Kashmir valley. National Conference is ready to form government with Congress in Jammu and Kashmir, but it will have to leave behind the wrong agenda and create such an environment that peace and stability increases, Jammu gets equal importance and Kashmiri Hindus can return home. Without doing all this, it would not be right to insist on restoration of statehood.
There is no doubt that the results of Haryana were unexpected. Also because even before the elections, an atmosphere was created that Congress was going to make an easy comeback. If this did not happen and BJP won for the record third time with more seats than the last time, then the reason is not only that it changed its policy, but also that Congress became a victim of unnecessary overconfidence.
It seems that she had understood that she would create an atmosphere in her favor through campaigning like in the Lok Sabha elections. He should have understood that the same strategy does not work again and again. One mistake that Congress made was that it made Bhupendra Singh Hooda a little more powerful. Not surprisingly, it was because of him that the issue of Jat versus non-Jat came to the surface and it had a huge impact on the Congress.
Now Congress, being shocked and troubled by the election results, is proving that it has become expert in blaming others for its mistakes by putting the Election Commission in the dock. It is natural for BJP's morale to increase with the Haryana election results because on one hand it has been successful in removing the negative atmosphere created after the Lok Sabha election results and on the other hand it has also made preparations for the upcoming assembly. Elections in Maharashtra, Jharkhand and other states gave additional strength.
