Jaipur, 31 August (HS). Due to the cessation of rains in the catchment area of Bisalpur Dam, the inflow of water in the dam has been decreasing daily for the last three days. The hopes of its filling have been slightly dashed. It is a matter of relief that this dam is now just one meter away from overflowing.
Right now, only 4 cm of water has entered this dam in 28 hours till 10 am. Whereas, 8 cm of water entered on Friday in the same period. Before that 22 cm of water had come in this period. Now people are worried due to the decreasing water inflow. Now as there has been no rain, it is difficult for this dam to overflow. Water is still entering the dam at a very slow pace. Now on Saturday, this speed seems to be decreasing further. Because the gauge of Triveni has also decreased by 4 cm on Saturday as compared to Friday. Today the gauge of Triveni has also remained only 2.80 meters in 24 hours.
