Jalaun, 2 October (Hindustan Reporter). Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated with great pomp in Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh. District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Pandey, while administering the oath of unity and integrity in the Collectorate premises, asked the employees to follow the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. After this, school children organized a program in the school under Road Safety Fortnight. Under this program, citizens were made aware of traffic rules so that any untoward accident can be avoided. Raktdaar Civil was organized in the same district hospital in which blood donors donated blood to save the lives of people and took an oath to help them.

District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar Pandey and Superintendent of Police Durgesh Kumar paid tribute to the great men by garlanding them in the morning. After this, people's morale was boosted by participating in the blood camp organized in the district hospital and fruits were distributed to the patients admitted in the hospital.
