Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Jamui in Bihar on Friday to celebrate Tribal Pride Day. The 150th birth anniversary celebration of Birsa Munda was organized. PM Modi unveiled commemorative coin and postage stamp in honor of Birsa Munda. They aim to uplift tribal communities and improve infrastructure in rural and remote areas of the region with Rs. Also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of many development schemes worth more than Rs 6,640 crore.
Also participated in the inauguration of 11,000 houses.
PM Modi also participated in the inauguration of 11,000 houses constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Adijati Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-Janman). He also inaugurated 23 Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) launched under PM-Janman and additional 30 MMUs under Dharti Aaba Tribal Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAZGUA) to increase access to health care in tribal areas.

Coins and postage stamps unveiled in memory of Birsa Munda
Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a special coin and postage stamp on the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda in Jamui Sabha. A postage stamp of Rs 5 has been issued by the Postal Department.
