Raipur/New Delhi, July 25 (HS). The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has identified 57 places in the country including Bilaspur and Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh for development under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme and 29 projects have been approved under this scheme.
Under Swadesh Darshan 2.0, 42 destinations in the country including 'Mayali Baghicha' of Chhattisgarh have been selected for development under the sub-scheme 'Challenge Based Destination Development'. Apart from this, the Ministry of Tourism has identified 29 projects in the country including Kudargarh Temple in Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh for development under the Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive (PRASAD) scheme.
This information was given by Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in Rajya Sabha today on Thursday in response to the unstarred question of Rajya Sabha MP from Chhattisgarh Phoolo Devi Netam.
