Dharamshala, July 08 (HS). BJP's co-incharge for Dehra by-election and Jaswan Pragpur MLA Bikram Thakur has said that the Chief Minister's panic shows that Congress is sure to lose in Dehra. Sukhu himself will be responsible for Congress's defeat in Dehra because he has created such an environment in the state that no one is able to digest. Addressing a press conference in Dehra, the former said that Chief Minister Sukhu has lied to every section of the society, has cheated every section. Seeing this, the people of Dehra feel that the Chief Minister is trying to cheat Dehra. Bikram alleged that the Chief Minister has changed the mining policy to benefit his relatives. He said that the Chief Minister has committed corruption by linking his relative's crusher with the work of a project.
Bikram Thakur said that in the elections, the Chief Minister is claiming to be the son-in-law of Dehra, but he is the real son-in-law of Jaswan Pragpur, not Dehra. He is a fake son-in-law of Dehra. Bikram said that why did those who spread the lie of creating a district not notify the DC office in Dehra. He said that if the SP office and the Circle Office of the Public Works Department can be approved in the Cabinet, then why was the DC office not approved. Bikram said that a dirty business is going on in the Congress government in Himachal. He said that the group of friends is making money in the state and corruption is at its peak. Land is being bought for Rs 2 lakh and sold to HRTC for crores.
Earlier electricity was sold through Vidyut Board but now the government has appointed private agencies for it due to which the state has suffered a loss of more than Rs 100 crore. Bikram said that during the 18-month tenure of the Sukhu government no industry came to the state but instead industries migrated. He said that the central government had gifted Himachal a Bulk Drug Park but it is in the same condition as it was during the tenure of the previous Jairam government. The Congress government has not done even a rupee's worth of work on it. Bikram said that the Chief Minister has converted Dehra into a police cantonment. Efforts are being made to give money to Mahila Mandals.
