Raja Pal alias Raja Bengali, the kingpin of the thief gang caught by the police, has done such deeds that the police were shocked to hear about them. Along with Raja, his friend Rahul Kumar has also been arrested by the police. Ramgarh SP Ajay Kumar gave information about this entire case during a press conference on Monday evening. The SP said that the bike thief gang was seen roaming in suspicious condition in the Patratu area. As soon as the police got information about this, raids were started by the police station in-charge Shivlal Gupta under the leadership of Patratu SDPO Virendra Kumar Ram. When the police saw two people riding a bike in suspicious condition near the post office, the bike riders started running away from there. The police chased and caught both the youths. During interrogation, they were identified as Raja Pal alias Raja Bengali, resident of Panchmandir, G Type Quarter of Patratu police station area and Rahul Kumar, resident of Kanodagarh.
Documents of the bike were not found, two more stolen bikes were found during investigation
Police demanded documents of the bike (JH 01 DH 0590) from Raja Pal and Rahul. But they could not produce any documents. When police strictly interrogated them, it was revealed that both of them were clever thieves and had stolen the bike from RIMS, Ranchi and brought it to Patratu 3 days ago. Earlier also they had stolen a bike from Atal Vendor Kachhari Mode and a scooty from Seva Sadan and brought it to Patratu. They had hidden them in an empty quarter. On their information, the scooty and Splendor motorcycle (JH 01 AH 7663) were recovered. During investigation, it was found that the owner of the scooty is Priya Singh, a resident of Kishoreganj Ranchi. And the owner of the bike (JH 01 AH 7663) is Mahli Kachhap, a peon of Special Work Division Bhawan, Ranchi. Apart from this, the bike on which they were roaming, belongs to Krishnanand Singh, a resident of Bariatu Doctor Colony. All those people had lodged a first information report regarding theft of their bikes at the concerned police station.
Nine cases are already registered against Raja Pal
Raja Pal alias Raja Bengali is a very clever thief. There are already 9 cases registered against him. Raja Pal had recently gone to Ranchi jail in a theft case. As soon as he came out on bail, he started his own business. Earlier also, cases have been registered against him under Arms Act, extortion, robbery, theft and POCSO Act.
