Bike rider dies in collision between Hiva and bike, road jammed | News India

Saharsa, September 19 (HS). On Thursday evening, near Dharhara on NH 107 road in Balwahat police station area of ​​the district, an uncontrolled speeding truck crushed a bike rider, due to which the bike rider died on the spot. The deceased youth was Rohit Chaudhary, 23-year-old son of Satyanarayan Chaudhary, resident of Ward No. 15 of Bareba Tola of Sitanabad Southern Panchayat of Bakhtiyarpur police station area.

Eyewitnesses said that a speeding truck was going from Balwahat towards Simribakhtiyarpur and the bike rider was going to Balwahat for some work. As soon as the bike rider reached near Dharhara, a truck coming from the front hit him hard, due to which he died on the spot. After the incident, the local people caught the truck but the driver took advantage of the situation and managed to escape. After the incident, the angry people blocked the Simribakhtiyarpur-Balwahat NH 107 road by placing bamboo sticks. On receiving the information of the incident, the Balwahat police tried to pacify the angry people but the police could not do anything in front of the furious mob, after which the Bakhtiyarpur police was informed about the incident.

Bakhtiyarpur police, who reached the spot after getting information about the incident, took charge and tried to pacify the angry villagers but the jam had not ended till the time of writing the news. On getting information about the incident, the mother of the deceased, Runa Devi, wife and other relatives who reached the spot were inconsolable. Here, Balwahat police station sent the body of the deceased to Sadar Hospital Saharsa for postmortem and has started further action by confiscating the Hiva.
