Jalaun, May 31 (HS). The bike of a mother and son who were returning to Bhind, Madhya Pradesh after attending a wedding fell into a ditch. Both of them were seriously injured. With the help of passersby, they were taken to the hospital, where the mother died during treatment.
Somvati (42), who had come from Bhind in Madhya Pradesh to attend a wedding in Jalaun, was returning home with her son Sunny on a bike on Friday morning. As they reached near Sudhar, the son fell asleep and the mother-son duo, along with the bike, fell into a ditch. Both were injured in the accident. The police, informed by passersby, rushed the injured to the hospital in an ambulance, where the mother, Somvati, died during treatment. The son is seriously injured and is undergoing treatment.
